RST supplies broadcast-specific LED panels with anti-moiré optical treatment on the front surface and a pixel geometry optimised to prevent interference patterns with camera sensors. At 3840 Hz refresh rate, there are no scan lines at any standard broadcast frame rate. We can arrange on-camera testing during installation to confirm moiré-free performance.
What pixel pitch is recommended for a TV news studio background?
For typical news studio sizes (camera distance 3-6 m), P1.5 to P2 delivers full HD equivalent resolution at the camera. P1.2 is used for ultra-close camera work in sit-down interview setups. RST will calculate the optimal pixel pitch for your studio dimensions and camera focal lengths.
