Where South India's LED Displays Are Built
RST Innovations' manufacturing facility is located at Sidco Industrial Estate, Umayanalloor, Kollam, Kerala — a purpose-built production campus that has been operational since 2007. As South India's first LED video wall manufacturer, our factory houses the complete production chain: PCB assembly, cabinet fabrication, module integration, software configuration, burn-in testing, and quality certification — all under one roof.
The facility produces indoor LED video walls, outdoor LED displays, fine-pitch panels, LED vehicle display systems, stage LED screens, transparent LED, and a full range of specialty LED products. All systems are manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards, with 100% burn-in testing before dispatch.
From Design to Dispatch — How We Build
Every RST display follows a 6-stage production process before it leaves our Kollam facility.
1 · Optical & System Design
Every project begins with specification review — pixel pitch selection, brightness calculation, viewing distance analysis, and structural load design. Our engineering team produces full shop drawings before production starts.
2 · PCB & Module Assembly
SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly of LED driver boards. LED modules are binned for consistent colour temperature and brightness. Cabinet-level assembly is completed by trained technicians with strict ESD controls.
3 · Cabinet Fabrication
Aluminium die-cast and steel cabinets are fabricated in-house, with powder-coating and, for outdoor products, corrosion-resistant finishes. Front-service and rear-service configurations are both produced depending on installation requirements.
4 · System Integration
LED cabinets are connected to video processing controllers (Nova, Linsn, Colorlight), power distribution is configured, and the system is calibrated for uniformity across the full display array. CMS software is installed and configured where applicable.
5 · Burn-In & QC Testing
Every unit undergoes a minimum 24-hour continuous burn-in at full brightness. Dead pixel checks, colour uniformity measurements, brightness calibration, and power consumption verification are completed before QC sign-off. Pixel defect rate target: <0.01%.
6 · Packaging & Dispatch
Products are packed in custom-designed foam-lined flight cases (for rental inventory) or export-grade cartons (for permanent installations). Each unit is labelled with serial number, QC pass date, and warranty start date before handover to logistics.

All RST LED products meet CE marking requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrical safety, ensuring compliance for commercial and government installations.
IP65 / IP54 Weather Rating
Outdoor LED products are IP65-rated (front face) and IP54-rated (rear) — independently tested for dust ingress and water jet resistance. Critical for Kerala's monsoon climate.
GeM Registered
RST Innovations is a registered seller on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), qualifying us for direct procurement by central and state government departments and PSUs.
MSME Registered
